In what we hope will become an annual event, Jacques Demolay #1390, AF&AM, in conjunction with the Valley of Houston Scottish Rite Are pleased to announce Masonic Tattoo Day!
So here’s the rundown:
Masonic Tattoo Day is being held at the Houston Scottish Rite Event Center on August 12, 2023 from 12:00PM until 9:00PM. Tattoos are being offered by two of our Brothers (they are professionals) to Past Masters with a choice of artist and design. There are six sittings with each artist available. Reservations can be made in advance by booking your time on the Eventbrite link below.
The tattoos are roughly palm sized, either in “plain” or “Shaded” in black and white or gold. Our artists, Brothers Chris George of Clear Lake Lodge #1417 and Ryan Scroggins of Harmony Lodge #6. are both Master Masons, and will have six appointments each.

Sittings should take roughly an hour and fifteen minutes and will cost $200 to be paid to the artist directly the day of the event.
This event is free and open to the public, whether being tattooed or not.
In addition to the inking, there will be:
- Movies playing on the “Really Big Screen”
- Video Games in the lounge
- Burgers, dogs, chips and drinks for sale
- Masonic tours of the Houston Scottish Rite Event Center
