W. G. “TREY” WING (w∴m∴ 1994-1995)

Wilson Gordon Wing, III was born on July 7, 1963 in Houston, Texas. He was educated in the public school system of the city, and was the recipient of the Good Citizenship Award in 1981. After graduating from Robert E. Lee High
School that same year, he attended Stephen F. Austin State University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 1985. He is self-employed, dabbling in the field of investments.

He is single.

Brother Wing was made a member of the Order of DeMolay at the age of thirty-one, having received by special dispensation the degrees from Reagan Chapter in May 1994. Because of his devoted service to the Order, he was invested as a member of the Legion of Honor in 1995.

Brother Wing received the degrees of Freemasonry from Jacques DeMolay Lodge No. 1390 in Houston, Texas. He was initiated as an Entered Apprentice Mason on June 13, 1986; passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on August 25, 1986; and raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason on November 11, 1986. He served as Worshipful Master of the Lodge from 1994 to 1995.

Brother Wing is a member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Brother Wing is a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, having received the degrees from the Houston bodies in November 1986. During reunions, he works as the Assistant Control Booth Coordinator, and is a member of the Twenty-first Degree team. For his service and devotion to the Rite, he was invested with the rank and decoration of a Knight Commander of the Court of Honour in 1993.
